#TACOSCASA founder, Brisa Lopez, is a chef, project manager, event organizer and former brand development executive. After executing different roles within the advertising field, she decides to embark on a new adventure. One that she has practiced for decades as a way to connect with family, friends and colleagues. She finds food as another language where everybody and from any place can have a come ground. One that not only feeds the body but also nurtures de soul and heart.
Mexican cuisine has for sure been available for decades in the US but as today, it is still hard to find the one that can take us to a tiny town in Queretaro, or a metal table hidden within the hills of el Ajusco. Like any other culture, traditional recipes tend to fade and get diluted with new trends which is always refreshing and innovative. But at the end of the road, we want to go back home. That place that can tell you an entire history just with the scents of roasted chiles, minced salsas on a molcajete and a warm mole with chicken on a clay pot. Provecho!
